From the “What if McCain had said this file” we have a video of Obama speaking in Oregon about his 15 month campaign. While noting that he will not visit Hawaii (where he was raised), nor Alaska, he does make it a point to say that he had visited 57 States, and only has one left!

“It is wonderful to be back in Oregon, over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it.”

Had McCain said something similar, lefties would be all over it accusing him of having a senior moment, or something to that affect. Obama’s campaign will surely just chalk it up to fatigue, saying he had misspoken. But just in case, maybe we should get Obama on the show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” and find out how little he really knows about the country he intends to lead.

Update: StopTheACLU.com reminds us that there are not 57 States in the United States, there are however 57 Islamic States.
