An Inconvenient Truth Part II
History has taught us that all great works of fiction deserve a sequel, if not a trilogy. Al Gore’s work of fiction is no exception, and he has announced today that he does indeed plan to release a sequel to An Inconvenient Truth:
The former US Vice President said: “I will make a sequel to the 2006 documentary ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ and despite earths ‘rising fever’, I am hopeful for a happy ending”.
However, he admitted that the situation had instead got worse since his documentary hit cinemas in 2006.
I wonder if the Goracle will devote the first 30 minutes of his new movie to correct the errors made in his first one. I wonder if he will repudiate the IPCC report which he based his original theory on. But most of all I wonder if he will remind people how many billions of dollars his company stands to make if world governments force corporations to purchase carbon offsets.
If Gore were to open his new movie in such a manner, then it could truly be called “An Inconvenient Truth Part II”, because although the above three points are certainly inconvenient for Al Gore and his alarmist buddies, they are most certainly the truth. If he neglects to remind viewers of his scientific errors, and continues to represent as fact that higher CO2 drives higher temperatures, even though the exact opposite is true, he may as well title his sequel “A Very Convenient Lie”.
