A Message To The Huffington Post From A White Man

I know what you are about to say, The Huffington Post doesn’t want to hear from me as a white man, they are more interested in attracting a minority readership which shares their contempt for our country. In that regard they are successful, as anyone who has read the hateful comments by their readers can attest to. But lets face facts, any blog which receives over 100,000 hits per day is always going to have some racist or sexist people responding with comments, and it is difficult to moderate them all. At Huffington however, it is not only their commenter’s who have racist and/or sexist views, their contributors share them as well.

Nora Ephron has a post today titled “White Men“, and from the simple title you can only imagine how simple minded the article itself will be. In a nutshell what Nora is saying, is regardless of the outcome in Pennsylvania, it will only prove that white men are either sexist, or racist.

But now there are two and we’re facing Pennsylvania and whom are we kidding? This is an election about whether the people of Pennsylvania hate blacks more than they hate women. And when I say people, I don’t mean people, I mean white men.

Once again I find myself reading a liberals opinion piece in disgust as Nora represents everything that is wrong with the liberal mindset who can only see skin deep. As much as those on the left pretend they wish to see a color blind society, the truth is they will never allow that to happen. Once minorities are no longer looked upon as minorities, the Democrats entire political platform would cease to exist. Once they could no longer accuse Republicans of oppressing minorities, what could they possibly offer the minority community in order to gain their votes?

For the last few months I have read many similar opinion pieces with regards to the Democratic primary, all written by those who are wearing blinders and are unable to see the big picture. While they will attempt to paint an Obama win as a sexism, and a Hillary win as racism, they fail to remember how many white men have already dropped out of the election do to lack of support, even from our supposedly racist white male voting block. They also neglect to realize that those white men who were more qualified than the two remaining candidates were rejected by Democrats because they were white men, not in spite of that fact.

I would like to touch on one other sentence in this article while I am still in a ranting mood. Nora says “white men cannot be relied on, as all of us know who have spent a lifetime dating them”. For those of you out there who are race conscious, imagine the outcry if Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter had said something similar about black men.
