The chicken little’s of the world have managed to convince enough people that the sky is indeed falling, but don’t worry a solution is at hand. Apparently Socialism on a global level is the key in preventing global warming from destroying us all.

Poor countries at a U.N. conference said Tuesday they won’t sign a global warming pact unless industrialized nations guarantee them billions of dollars needed to adapt to the impact of climate change.

So let’s get this straight, these poor countries are stating that it will cost them billions of dollars to adapt to climate change, yet they will not sign on to a pact which is supposed to prevent climate change?

China called in Bangkok for developed countries to provide at least 0.5 percent of their gross domestic product annually to help poorer nations adapt.

In the United States, that would exceed $60 billion.

This is in line with what I had reported several months ago when I asked if this was about global warming, or global welfare. At the time I quoted Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth who said “A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources,”

Karl Marx couldn’t have said it any better.
