As a rule of thumb I generally try to avoid any form of name calling here, I find it to be counter productive in most cases, this is not one of those cases. I actually had to bite my tongue (figuratively speaking of course) when I only called these protesters morons, as there were many four letters words creeping through my mind which would have more acurately conveyed my thoughts after seeing the following pics of the Berkeley protests this week.

Any sane minded individual looking at these signs would not have even the slightest clue as to what was being protested, or why. For those of you not yet aware, what these morons are protesting is a Marine recruiting office in Berkelely. As you can see by these pictures, many of these people are protesting more than just the war in Iraq, they are protesting America itself. They believe it is a patriotic show of support to our armed forces to burn the American flag, declare the Marines are “unwelcome and unwanted” in the city of Berkely, and referring to Marines as “Bush’s death pimps”.

I realize many Americans are against the war in Iraq, but it needs to be understood that the Marine Corps. is not to blame. If Code Pink and others wish to stage a protest, they should direct their anger at the White House and Congress, not soldiers who volunteered to protect our country.
