Michigan Republican Primary Predictions
I have been doing pretty good so far at predicting the outcome of the primaries thus far, so I decided to put them out there for the world to see now (and hope I don’t make a complete fool of myself in the process)
- Mitt Romney - 33%
- John McCain - 29%
- Mike Huckabee - 14%
- Fred Thompson - 9%
- Ron Paul - 6%
I will be updating tonight after the results are.
Update:With 90% reporting it appears I was fairly close with my predictions. Had Paul’s support dead on at 6%, was within 1% on McCain and 2% on Huckabee. Although I underestimated Romney in Michigan, that was an honest mistake and one which many others had made (I saw estimates of Romney in the mid 20’s), my only real fault was overestimating Fred Thompson which was probably more wishful thinking than anything else.
