Global Warming or Global Welfare?
I have been writing for months about the scam that is man made Global Warming, alerting readers the sole purpose of this charade was to institute a new tax policy which would siphon money from the U.S. economy for the “greater good”. The arguments against me have been mostly relying on the idea that America needs to rid itself of our dependency on foreign oil, which I have never argued. Many on the left astonishingly feel that the easiest way to end that dependency is to tax it more, i.e. make it too expensive for the average person to afford. This was the same principal which was argued when higher taxes on cigarettes are proposed, with one key difference. Cigarettes are not a necessity while at this time, oil is.
Recently thousands of political leaders across the world boarded their private jets and flew to a tropical paradise to have a meeting on how the world should react to the end of the world scenario proposed by Al Gore. These world “leaders” have now proposed a solution which will make Democrats water at the mouth as it echoes the Dems solution to every domestic “crisis”. The solution of course is a new tax, a global tax in fact, which would suck anywhere from $10-$40 Billion from the U.S. economy for the benefit of those less fortunate than us.
The UN was presented with a new report from the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment titled “Global Solidarity in Financing Adaptation.” The report stated there was an “urgent need” for a global tax in order for “damages [from climate change] to be kept from growing to truly catastrophic levels, especially in vulnerable countries of the developing world.”
“A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources,” said Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth
When reading the last quote, one has to wonder if the point of this conference was truly the climate, or if “leveling the playing field” of the world economy was more important. Completely ignored by the conference members was a letter sent to them signed by 100 scientists urging them to abandon the idea of a global tax because their efforts will be futile in stopping any climate change:
It is not possible to stop climate change, a natural phenomenon that has affected humanity through the ages. Geological, archaeological, oral and written histories all attest to the dramatic challenges posed to past societies from unanticipated changes in temperature, precipitation, winds and other climatic variables.
Attempts to prevent global climate change from occurring are ultimately futile, and constitute a tragic misallocation of resources that would be better spent on humanity’s real and pressing problems.”
The so called consensus referred to by Al Gore and the IPCC is largely fictional, as these 100 scientists will attest to. I had written in the past that less than half of all published scientists endorse Al Gore’s global warming theory, and several other articles regarding climatologists who also do not believe the politicians theory. Amazingly the mainstream media continues to ignore these scientists, opting instead to push stories which convey the message that the sky is falling and we are all going to die without immediate action.
The immediate action being taken now however has nothing to do with global warming, it has to do with global welfare. Much like our domestic economy acts as Robin Hood taking from the rich and giving to the poor, the United nations is attempting to have the global economy operate the same way.

[…] This has been a common theme worldwide, and unfortunately here in the United States as well. Make no mistake about it, everytime Congressman refer to a cap-and-trade system, or windfall taxes on oil companies, what they are really advocating is the abolishment of capitalism. Their sole intent is to confiscate money from the public through one form of tax or another with the sole purpose of distributing that money to others. As Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth so bluntly put it a few months ago, “A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources.” […]
