When Hillary Attacks
Yasterday Hillary Clinton announced she intends to increase the attacks on her Democratic rivals, most notbaly Barack Obama. SHe was quoted as saying “Now the fun part starts”, and I couldnt help but think to myself, yes this truly will be fun! The Clintons are known to play dirty politics and I was sure Hillary had some dirt on Obama that she was just itching to release to the general public. As a Republican, I thought nothing could be finer than watching the two top Democratic candidates duking it out and spreading dirt on each other.
Unfortunately, thus far Hillary has let me down. Shortly after announcing her new plan of ‘attack’, HillaryHub announced tha Obama wanted ot be President since kindergarten:
Today in Iowa, Senator Barack Obama said: “I have not been planning to run for president for however number of years some of the other candidates have been planning for.”
However, the facts don’t back up Sen. Obama’s claim.
In third grade, Sen. Obama wrote an essay titled ‘I Want To Be a President’:
Sen. Obama’s third grade teacher, Fermina Katarina Sinaga, “asked her class to write an essay titled ‘My dream: What I want to be in the future.’ Obama wrote ‘I want to be a president,’ she said.” [The Los Angeles Times, 3/15/07]
In kindergarten, Sen. Obama wrote an essay titled ‘I Want to Become President’:“Iis Darmawan, 63, Obama’s kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. He wrote an essay titled, ‘I Want To Become President,’ the teacher said.” [AP, 1/25/07]
This shocking allegation has Obama supporters running for the hills! A kindergarten student who dreams of one day becoming President, who has ever heard of anything so absurd? If this is Hillary’s idea of an attack, I rue the day Americans ever make her commander in chief of our armed forces. Would her plan to attack Al Qaeda consist of a harsh scolding, maybe a slap on the back of the hand?
