The above is a quote taken from Jane Harmon’s diary at the Daily Kos. Please read it one more time and see if you notice anything a little out of whack….. That’s right, she said that the only way to ensure the surveillance programs comply with the Constitution is with a veto-proof majority!

Message for Jane Harman (D - CA), the Constitution is not merely a guideline to be consulted once in a while when you feel like it. It is the law of the land! A veto-proof majority is not necessary to overturn a veto against the President’s surveillance program if it does not comply with the Constitution, that is what the Supreme Court is for.
