Oliver Willis is this weeks lucky winner for his article “Convenient Blackness” in which he stated:

If Thurgood Marshall were still alive at Thomas’ Supreme Court nomination he would have surely recoiled at the neanderthal positions Thomas held on race.

Although the thought process behind Mr. Willis statements alone could have earned him dumb quote of the week, what makes him especially deserving is the fact that Thurgood Marshall was alive during Thomas’ Supreme Court nomination, he did not die until over 1 year later.
